Hi, I'm Jo Lukis

a music marketing specialist and an Aussie-Canadian, now based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I launched Just Really Good in 2019 out of a desire to work with a diverse range of artists from different backgrounds and genres and to help bridge the gap for Canadian, Australian & American artists growing their audiences at home and overseas.

Born with a natural obsession for all things musical and a keen photographer’s eye, after completing a Bachelor of Visual Communication I spent almost ten years photographing musicians and had some unforgettable shoots with artists like SlashCalvin Harris and The Vines.

I was Head of Recorded Music for their roster of independent artists and labels including Xavier Rudd, Seth Sentry, Drapht, Dead Letter Circus & Ceres. Together we also built Macro Events & Macro Merch divisions, of which I also managed the marketing.
